Materials Data on La2AgAu by Materials Project
La2AuAg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2AuAg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Ag atom. The La–Au bond length is 2.71 Å. The La–Ag bond length is 2.85 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
