With funding from the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy State Energy Program’s Competitive Financial Assistance program, the Minnesota’s Department of Commerce (COM) created a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Action Plan that has the potential to double the state’s CHP capacity, help the state achieve its target of 1.5% annual energy savings, and improve the resilience of the distribution grid.
