Materials Data on Ca2ZnPd by Materials Project
Ca2PdZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2PdZn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Zn atom. The Ca–Pd bond length is 2.60 Å. The Ca–Zn bond length is 3.19 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
