Materials Data on Ca2ZnGa by Materials Project
Ca2ZnGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2ZnGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Zn and one Ga atom. The Ca–Zn bond length is 3.19 Å. The Ca–Ga bond length is 2.87 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
