Materials Data on Ga2CoIr by Materials Project
IrCoGa2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two IrCoGa2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Ir–Ga bond lengths are 2.38 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.40 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Co atom.
