Materials Data on Cd2AgPt by Materials Project
PtAgCd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PtAgCd2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pt–Cd bond lengths are 2.60 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Ag–Cd bond lengths are 2.66 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Ag atom.
