Materials Data on LiScZn2 by Materials Project
LiScZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiScZn2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Li–Zn bond lengths are 2.65 Å. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Zn atoms. Both Sc–Zn bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Sc atom.
