Materials Data on LaCd2Ag by Materials Project
LaAgCd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaAgCd2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both La–Cd bond lengths are 3.19 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Ag–Cd bond lengths are 2.75 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one Ag atom.
