Materials Data on LaZnAg2 by Materials Project
LaAg2Zn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaAg2Zn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms. Both La–Ag bond lengths are 3.12 Å. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one Zn atom. The Ag–Zn bond length is 2.76 Å. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ag atoms.
