Materials Data on SrLaCd2 by Materials Project
SrLaCd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two SrLaCd2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Sr–Cd bond lengths are 3.52 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both La–Cd bond lengths are 3.20 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Sr and one La atom.
