Materials Data on LiCd2Ni by Materials Project
LiNiCd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiNiCd2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Li–Cd bond lengths are 2.77 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Ni–Cd bond lengths are 2.61 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Ni atom.
