Materials Data on CdIn2Bi by Materials Project
CdIn2Bi crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CdIn2Bi ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms. Both Cd–In bond lengths are 2.94 Å. In is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Bi atom. The In–Bi bond length is 2.77 Å. Bi is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent In atoms.
