Materials Data on Ca by Materials Project
Ca is Indium structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded to twelve equivalent Ca atoms to form a mixture of distorted face, edge, and corner-sharing CaCa12 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (3.81 Å) and four longer (4.17 Å) Ca–Ca bond lengths.
