Materials Data on Ca by Materials Project
Ca is Copper structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ca is bonded to twelve equivalent Ca atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CaCa12 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (3.87 Å) and four longer (3.94 Å) Ca–Ca bond lengths.
