Materials Data on K2NaCd by Materials Project
K2NaCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two K2NaCd ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. K is bonded in a linear geometry to one Na and one Cd atom. The K–Na bond length is 3.73 Å. The K–Cd bond length is 3.75 Å. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent K atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent K atoms.
