Materials Data on Cd2PdPt by Materials Project
PtPdCd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two PtPdCd2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pt–Cd bond lengths are 2.59 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Pd atom.
