Fracture analysis lowers expenses and raises production in Frontier

This report describes a fracturing treatment used for enhancing petroleum recovery in a tight sand in Wyoming. The treatment calls for a 30,000 gallon pad with linked fluid. The proppant goes into the hole in four stages starting at two pounds per gallon and increasing to four pounds per gallon and six pounds per gallon to finish at eight pounds per gallon. Afterwards, the fracture fluid flows back to the wellbore immediately which helps to reduce proppant settling and achieve conductivity.
