Long-term corrosion tests of high-strength steels were conducted under atmospheric conditions of coastal subtropics (Batumi). Corrosion cracking resistance of 08Kh15N5D2T, 06Kh14N6D2MBT, 03Kh111N10M2T, 08Kh17N5M3 and 11Kh11M2V2MF steels was estimated. Comparison of the data obtained on the Black Sea coast and in marine tropics of Cuba and a ship deck revealed the effect of climatic conditions on the corrosion cracking resistance. Relationships were determined between parameters of the resistance found both in laboratory tests and parameters obtained under natural climatic conditions.
