Establishing a Life Cycle Power Baseline for the U.S.

This work was presented at the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment (ACLCA) LCAXVI Conference in Charleston, SC on September 28, 2016. The presentation discusses the goals of the work, which include regionalized profiles and enough inventory items to support life cycle impact analysis using the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tool for Reduction and Assessment of Chemicals and Other Environmental Impacts (TRACI). The presentation also touches on different load cycles for generators and accounting for changes in performance over time.
