A statistical report on the fourth forest inventory of New York conducted in 1991-94 by the Forest Inventory and Analysis Unit, Northeastern Forest Experiment Station. Statistical for forest area, numbers of trees, wildlife habitat, tree biomass, timber volume, timber products output, growth and change are displayed at the state and, when appropriate, at the unit and county levels. The current inventory indicates that there approximately 21.8 billion cubic feet of growing-stock volume on 15.4 million acres of timberland in New York.
