How to Support Reliability and Maintenance of Your Equipment [Poster]

Preventive maintenance is routine maintenance performed on equipment and systems to prevent them from failing and maintain expected performance. Pantex and Y-12 have different procedures in how they create and implement PM. With a standardized procedure across both plants, the following will be supported: (1) Worker safety, (2) Reduced material and downtime costs, (3) Completion of PM tasks. The purpose of the project is to gather information on the “pilot” facility to see how the proposed actions will affect the PM program and how it can be applied plant-wide.
