A regulated high-voltage supply with computer or manual control is described that has an output range of 0-30 kV, a maximum load current of 10 mA, 1024 30-V computer-controlled output-voltage steps, and a ripple factor of {le}0.05%. Short-circuit protection and the possibility of change of output-voltage polarity are provided. 2 refs., 2 figs.
