Measuring {ital G}{sup {ital n}}{sub {ital E}} in quasielastic {sup 3}{ital H{rvec e}}({ital {rvec e}},{ital e}{prime})

We report a measurement of the transverse-longitudinal asymmetry {ital A}{sub {ital TL}}, in {sup 3}{ital H{rvec e}}({ital {rvec e}},{ital e}{prime}) quasielastic scattering at {ital Q}{sup 3}=0.14 (GeV/c){sup 2}. A straightforward extraction of the neutron electric form factor, {ital G}{sup {ital n}}{sub {ital E}}, is made using a PWIA model. No meaningful result for {ital G}{sup {ital n}}{sub {ital E}} is obtained due to large uncertainties and possible final-state interaction effects. At higher {ital Q}{sup 2}, the determination of {ital G}{sup {ital n}}{sub {ital E}} in {sup 3}{ital H{rvec e}}({ital {rvec e}},{ital e}{prime}) appears feasible.
