A SIERRA coupled nonlinera thermal-elastic simulation cosde using Calore and Adagio mechanics. Practical Application: Problems involving coupling between the phenomena of heat transfer and solid mechanics. For example, temperature distributions can be calculated and passed to the solid mechanics to determine stresses and deformation. Deformations can also be passed back to the thermal mechanics and affect that solution. This coupling can be done once per analysis, one per load step, or the codes can iterate between the two mechanics until a coupled convergence measure is reached.
