The Rocky Flats Site has been designated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Headquarters (HQ) as one of several pilot sites for development of Intergrated Planning. FY 93 was the first year of the project and represented a good year for the Integrated Planning Process--a year of constant change and challenge. Reflecting on the Project Initiation and Project Management, a number of lessons learned can be derived to help others who want to initiate a similar process.
