This presentation describes the historical aspects of integrated planning and decision-making that took place at the Rocky Flats Plant. The major lessons learned are as follows: (1) Support by upper management is critical to the success of integrated planning techniques. (2) Involvement of stakeholders is also essential, and they should be trained to establish a common language so their involvement is more effective. (3) There must be a strong tie between products and processes.
