This testing was performed to evaluate the performance of the FLIR systems® portable DESI/DART MS/MS (Direct ElectroSpray Ionization)/Direct Analysis in Real Time-Mass Spectrometer/ Mass Spectrometer) system against high explosives residues under field conditions. The samples collected for analysis do not require sample preparation and are analyzed in less than 20 seconds.
