Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:10163252

Each of the five arrays planned for the project`s Emerging Module Technology Segment-1 (EMT-1) Davis procurement are now in operation, along with one EMT host site array in operation on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The most recently installed array is an ENTECH two-axis tracking concentrator array. The ENTECH array began its 30-day conditioning eight soak) period on March 6. Although the array has been tracking, the DECC/Helionetics power conditioning unit (PCU) connected to it required start-up servicing and was not on line until the first week of April. Performance data for the ENTECH array will be included beginning with the 2nd quarter 1991 technical report. The combined quarterly output for the arrays was 26,300 ac kWh, the same energy used by 17 average homes over the same period.
