Preconversion catalytic deoxygenation of phenolic functional groups. Quarterly technical progress report, June 1, 1994--August 31, 1994

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:10128774
Recent research in this laboratory has established the viability of the catalytic deoxygenation of phenols by carbon monoxide. The initial phases of the author`s work focus on identifying catalyst requirements essential for low temperature deoxygenation using potential mono(aryloxide) catalysts Rh(triphos)(O-Ph) and Pt(triphos)(O-Ph){sup +} [triphos = bis(2 diphenylphosphinoethyl)phenylphosphine].
