Flyer sensitivity test
This is an interim report on the development of a flyer sensitivity test to be used for characterization of a variety of explosives having a relatively wide range of sensitivities. Included are descriptions of the flyer device design and electrical firing source; preliminary results from HNS I and HNS II threshold tests; flyer planarity data under various conditions of bridge confinement; and velocity calibration data by VISAR measurements.
