Title: Materials Data on RbSnCl3 by Materials Project

RbSnCl3 is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb1+ is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to ten Cl1- atoms. There are a spread of Rb–Cl bond distances ranging from 3.63–4.08 Å. Sn2+ is bonded to six Cl1- atoms to form corner-sharing SnCl6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 1–5°. There are a spread of Sn–Cl bond distances ranging from 2.73–2.88 Å. There are three inequivalent Cl1- sites. In the first Cl1- site, Cl1- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rb1+ and two equivalent Sn2+ atoms. In the second Cl1- site, Cl1- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Rb1+ and two equivalent Sn2+ atoms. In the third Cl1- site, Cl1- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Rb1+ and two equivalent Sn2+ atoms.
