Materials Data on NaSnO by Materials Project
NaSnO crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/nmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one NaSnO sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Na is bonded to four equivalent O atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing NaO4 trigonal pyramids. All Na–O bond lengths are 2.35 Å. Sn is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O atom. The Sn–O bond length is 2.00 Å. O is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Na and one Sn atom.
