Materials Data on Sb2Pt by Materials Project
PtSb2 crystallizes in the cubic Pa-3 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pt2- is bonded to six equivalent Sb1+ atoms to form corner-sharing PtSb6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 63°. All Pt–Sb bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Sb1+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Pt2- atoms.
