Materials Data on MgAgAs by Materials Project
MgAgAs is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg2+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ag1+ and six equivalent As3- atoms. All Mg–Ag bond lengths are 2.73 Å. All Mg–As bond lengths are 3.15 Å. Ag1+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Mg2+ and four equivalent As3- atoms. All Ag–As bond lengths are 2.73 Å. As3- is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Mg2+ and four equivalent Ag1+ atoms.
