Materials Data on YPt3 by Materials Project
Pt3Y is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y is bonded to twelve equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing YPt12 cuboctahedra. All Y–Pt bond lengths are 2.92 Å. Pt is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Y atoms.
