Materials Data on Sc4C3 by Materials Project
Sc4C3 crystallizes in the cubic I-43d space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sc3+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent C4- atoms. There are three shorter (2.26 Å) and three longer (2.79 Å) Sc–C bond lengths. C4- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Sc3+ atoms.
