Materials Data on EuAg2 by Materials Project
EuAg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Ag atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Ag bond distances ranging from 3.32–3.49 Å. Ag is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Eu and four equivalent Ag atoms. There are a spread of Ag–Ag bond distances ranging from 2.81–2.98 Å.
