Materials Data on VRh3 by Materials Project
Rh3V is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. V is bonded to twelve equivalent Rh atoms to form VRh12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent VRh12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent VRh12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra. All V–Rh bond lengths are 2.70 Å. Rh is bonded to four equivalent V and eight equivalent Rh atoms to form distorted RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent VRh12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent VRh12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent RhV4Rh8 cuboctahedra. All Rh–Rh bond lengths are 2.70 Å.
