Trenchless underground line installation and maintenance methods are gaining acceptance among utility construction managers as the technology and the techniques continue to develop. There are a lot of good reasons why the technology is being mainstreamed into utility construction operations including labor and cost efficiencies, environmental benefits and safety. In fact, it can be the only method available to utility managers when it comes to crossing stream beds, traversing historical sites or running new power lines through residential areas.
