Title: Color Detection Using Chromophore-Nanotube Hybrid Devices (PReSS/PD2P Talk)

A new solid-state light detection scheme will be discussed in this talk. In our work, single-walled carbon nanotubes transduce the light-induced conformational changes in nearby chromophores into elecmore »trical signals. This scheme mimics the way our eyes see the world. Potential applications of such nano-scale light detectors will also be discussed.« less
