Title: Search for transitions from $ϒ (4 S)$ and $ϒ (5 S)$ to $η_{b} (1 S)$ and $η_{b} (2 S)$ with emission of an $ω$ meson

Abstract

Using data collected in the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e - collider we search for transitions ?(4S) ? ?b(1S)?, ?(5S) ? ?b(1S)? and ?(5S) ? ?b(2S)?. No significant signals are observed and we set 90% confidence level upper limits on the corresponding visible cross sections: 0.2 pb, 0.4 pb and 1.9 pb, respectively

Observation of $ϒ (4 S) \to η^{'} ϒ (1 S)$

We report the first observation of the hadronic transition Υ(4S) → η'Υ(1S), using 496 fb^–1 data collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. We reconstruct the η' meson through its decays to ρ⁰γ and to π⁺π^–η, with η → γγ. We measure: B(Υ(4S) → η'Υ(1S)) = (3.43 ± 0.88(stat.) ± 0.21(syst.)) × 10^–5, with a significance of 5.7σ.
