Title: Measurements of the absolute branching fractions of $B^{+} \to X_{c \bar{c}} K^{+}$ and $B^{+} \to {\bar{D}}^{(*) 0} π^{+}$ at Belle

Abstract

We present the measurement of the absolute branching fractions of B⁺ → X_cc¯K⁺ and B⁺ → D¯^(*)0π₊ decays, using a data sample of 772 × 10⁶ BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. Here, X_cc¯ denotes η_c, J/ψ, χ_c0, χ_c1, η_c(2S), ψ(2S), ψ(3770), X(3872), and X(3915). We do not observe significant signals for X(3872) or X(3915) and set the 90% confidence level upper limits at B(B⁺ → X(3872)K⁺) < 2.6 × 10^–4and B(B⁺ → X(3915)K⁺) < 2.8 × 10^–4. These represent the most stringent upper limit for B(B⁺ → X(3872)K⁺) to date and the first limit for B(B⁺ → X(3915)K⁺). The measured branching fractions for η_c and η_c(2S) are the most precise to date, B(B⁺ → η_cK⁺) = (12.0 ± 0.8 ± 0.7) × 10^–4 and B(B⁺ → η_c(2S)K⁺) = (4.8 ± 1.1 ± 0.3) × 10^–4, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

Based on the data sample of 448.1 × 10⁶ ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, we present a study of the decays ψ(3686) → γχ_cJ → γp¯K*⁺ Λ + c.c. and ψ(3686) → p¯K*⁺Λ + c.c. The branching fractions of χ_cJ → p¯K*⁺Λ + c.c. (J = 0, 1, 2) are measured to be (4.8 ± 0.7 ± 0.5) × 10^–4, (5.0 ± 0.5 ± 0.4) × 10^–4, and (8.2 ± 0.9 ± 0.7) × 10^–4, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Observation of $h_{1} (1380)$ in the $J / ψ \to η^{'} K \bar{K} π$ decay

Using 1.31×10⁹ J/ψ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII e+e– collider, we report the first observation of the h1(1380) in J/ψ→η'h₁(1380) with a significance of more than ten standard deviations. The mass and width of the possible axial-vector strangeonium candidate h1(1380) are measured to be M=(1423.2±2.1±7.3) MeV/c² and Γ=(90.3±9.8±17.5) MeV. The product branching fractions, assuming no interference, are determined to be B(J/ψ→η'h₁(1380))×B(h1(1380)→K*(892)+K–+c.c.)=(1.51±0.09±0.21)×10^–4 in η'K+K–π⁰ mode and B(J/ψ→η'h₁(1380))×B(h₁(1380)→K*(892)¯K+c.c.)=(2.16±0.12±0.29)×10^–4 in η'K⁰_SK^±π^∓ mode. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Isospin symmetry violation is observed in the decays h₁(1380)→K*(892)+K–+c.c. and h1(1380)→K*(892)⁰¯K⁰+c.c.
