Pollution Prevention (P2) factors are intended for use as general indicators of environmental improvement for the entire life-cycle that has occurred, or might be expected to occur, as a result of implementing a particular P2 activity. However, disposing the single-use coffee pods accompanying each use creates insurmountable waste in landfills.
