Monte Carlo calculation of large and smallangle electron scattering in air
A Monte Carlo method for angle scattering of electrons in air that accommodates the smallangle multiple scattering and largerangle single scattering limits is introduced. In this work, the algorithm is designed for use in a particleincell simulation of electron transport and electromagnetic wave effects in air. The method is illustrated in example calculations.
