We show that if an electromagnetic energy pulse in a multimode coherent state with average photon number n is used to carry out the same quantum logical operation on a set of N atoms, either simultaneously or sequentially, the overall error probability in the worst-case scenario (i.e., maximized over all the possible initial atomic states) scales as N{sup 2}/n. Classical correlation and quantum discord sharing of Dirac fields in noninertial frames

The classical and quantum correlation sharing between modes of Dirac fields in the noninertial frame are investigated. Quantumness of noisy quantum walks: A comparison between measurement-induced disturbance and quantum discord

Noisy quantum walks are studied from the perspective of comparing their quantumness as defined by two popular measures, measurement-induced disturbance (MID) and quantum discord (QD). While the former has an operational definition, unlike the latter, it also tends to overestimate nonclassicality because of a lack of optimization over local measurements. Applied to quantum walks, we find that MID, while acting as a loose upper bound on QD, still tends to reflect correctly trends in the behavior of the latter. Probing quantum entanglement, quantum discord, classical correlation, and the quantum state without disturbing them

We present schemes for a type of one-parameter bipartite quantum state to probe quantum entanglement, quantum discord, the classical correlation, and the quantum state based on cavity QED. It is shown that our detection does not influence all these measured quantities. We also discuss how the spontaneous emission introduced by our probe atom influences our detection.
