The magnetic structure of Fe{sub 1-x}Co{sub x}Si single crystals with x=0.10,0.15,0.20,0.50 has been studied by small angle polarized neutron diffraction and superconducting quantum interference device measurements. Experiments have shown that in zero field the compounds with x=0.1,0.15 have a well-defined tendency to order in the one-handed spiral along <100> axes due to the anisotropic exchange, that, however, decreases with increasing Co concentration x. The magnetic structure of Fe{sub 1-x}Co{sub x}Si with x=0.2,0.5 consists of spiral domains with randomly oriented spiral wave vector k. Tetragonal magnetic phase in ${Ba}_{1 - x} K_{x} {Fe}_{2} {As}_{2}$ from x-ray and neutron diffraction

In this paper, combined neutron and x-ray diffraction experiments demonstrate the formation of a low-temperature minority magnetic tetragonal phase in Ba_0.76K_0.24Fe₂As₂ in addition to the majority magnetic, orthorhombic phase. The coincident enhancement in the magnetic (1/2 1/2 1) peaks shows that this minority phase is of the same type that was observed in Ba_1-xNa_xFe₂As₂ (0.24 ≤ x ≤ 0.28), in which the magnetic moments reorient along the c axis. This is evidence that the tetragonal magnetic phase is a universal feature of the hole-doped iron-based superconductors. Neutron spin resonance as a probe of Fermi surface nesting and superconducting gap symmetry in ${Ba}_{0.67} K_{0.33} {({Fe}_{1 - x} {Co}_{x})}_{2} {As}_{2}$

Here, we use inelastic neutron scattering to study the energy and wave-vector dependence of the superconductivity-induced resonance in hole-doped Ba_0.67K_0.33(Fe_1–xCo_x)₂As₂ (x=0 and 0.08 with T_c ≈ 37 and 28 K, respectively). In previous work on electron-doped Ba(Fe_0.963Ni_0.037)₂As₂ (T_N = 26 K and T_c = 17 K), the resonance is found to peak sharply at the antiferromagnetic (AF) ordering wave vector Q_AF along the longitudinal direction, but disperses upwards away from Q_AF along the transverse direction.
