Title: Arrangement for cooling a nuclear power plant

Abstract

Arrangement for cooling a nuclear power plant, which includes a reactor core, a reactor pressure vessel and a containment. A cooling system is connected to the reactor building and is capable of automatically supplying coolant such as cold water to the reactor building, depending on the pressure difference between the coolant feed stream and the pressure in the reactor building. The reactor building is protected and the effects of a loss of coolant accident in the reactor are limited by the system according to this invention. 2 figs.
