Abstract

This data set contains the geographic coordinates of the GWAS population described in Tuskan et. al, 2011 and Evans, et. al, 2014. These genotypes have been used in numerous experiments since then, and have been propogated in common gardens. The most recent common garden geo referenced dataset for Davis, California is also available.

The image dataset consists of 11,791 images representing 1,219 genotypes of Populus trichocarpa undergoing in planta regeneration. Genotypes were imaged with a median of four weekly timepoints and a median of two replicates each. A representative and diverse subset of 249 images was annotated using the IDEAS annotation interface (ideas.eecs.oregonstate.edu) and these annotated images were used to train a deep semantic segmentation model (PSPNet), which was deployed for inference over the entire dataset. Located at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), this data set is composed of the geographic coordinates of four transgenic Populus tremula x alba INRA 717-IB4 lines (CHX20, XBAT35, EXO70, DIR18) as well as a wild type (WT), and Empty vector (EV)). Our site is monitored by an ATOMS 41 weather station, which collects solar radiation, air temperature, vapor and atmospheric pressure, precipitation, and other weather variables. We will assess a suite of variables reflecting growth and performance, focusing on root allocation and soil carbon sequestration.
