The data were collected during the Holistic Interactions of Shallow Clouds, Aerosols, and Land-Ecosystems (HI-SCALE, http://www.arm.gov/campaigns/aaf2016hiscale) field campaign as part of ARM Aerial Facility (AAF) deployment. The ARM Aerial Facility Gulfstream-1 was deployed at Bartlesville, OK, for two intensive observation periods from April 23 through May 22 and from August 27 through September 25, 2016. Campaign datasets for Holistic Interactions of Shallow Clouds, Aerosols, and Land-Ecosystems (HISCALE)

Most of the instruments were deployed on the ARM Aerial Facility (AAF) Gulfstream-159 (G-1) aircraft, including those that measure atmospheric turbulence, cloud water content and drop size distributions, aerosol precursor gases, aerosol chemical composition and size distributions, and cloud condensation nuclei concentrations. Aerosol microphysical property measurements supplemented routine ARM aerosol measurements made at the surface. The G-1 completed transects over the SGP Central Facility at multiple altitudes within the boundary layer, and within and above clouds.

ARM AAF G1 Video files for ACE-ENA

Dataset Matthews, Alyssa

Forward and Nadir (downward) facing video recording during the ACE-ENA research flights aboard the ARM Aerial Facility G-1 from June to July in 2017. The video is recorded at 1 fps. It can be viewed in QuickTime. The camera time is synched daily with the aircraft NTP server.
