Title: Measurement of τ polarisation in Z / γ τ τ decays in proton-proton collisions at s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Abstract

CERN-LHC. Measurement of tau lepton polarisation in Z-boson decays in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with 20.2 fb^-1 of data from 2012. The measurement is done in electron-hadron and muon-hadron decay channels of tau lepton pairs in a fiducial region resembling kinematical acceptance of the analysis and is extracted over the full phase-space within Z-boson mass range from 66 to 116 GeV.
